A Few Days Off

I’m taking a few days off to go wandering cross country and attend the 2nd Bram Stoker International Film Festival at Whitby. I’m going with Mr Everlost from Vampire News so, if you are there and spot us, say hello.

There are a variety of films on and for myself the most anticipated non-vampire film is Death Kappa, whilst vampire wise I am looking forward to Renfield: the Undead. When it comes to classic films, well the thought of a big screen presentation of Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter is making me shiver with anticipation.

When I get back there will be more reviews, including my review of 30 days of Night: Dark Days – which I watched last night. Did I enjoy it, you’ll have to wait and see. Vampires Suck also opens in the UK this very same weekend. Does it suck… I can’t say that putting off the film for a few days for the joys of Whitby is causing me much heartache, so my expectations aren’t high.

Finally, I was contacted by Tim from best colleges online who asked me to give his article on Best Haunted House Attractions a shout – which is duly done.

Unfortunately Vampires suck sounds a movie which, indeed, sucks.

It doesn't bode well, does it?

Hope you had a great time!

I certainly did, Zahir...

A good festival, good company and some excellent films (not vampire, but check out Red Vicoria, it won the best film and the audience choice for the festival and director Tony Brownrigg is an absolute scream)...

but it is also good to be home.
