The latest issue (Jan 2010) of the Fortean Times has a bit of a vampire thing going on. Dracula adorns the cover with an article within as well as a list of 20 things you never knew about Dracula. There’s also an article about Nicaragua’s chupacabras.
Meanwhile over at Frequency of Fear the latest episode is Fangs for the Maladies Part 1. I am recruited by Doc Defiant to assist him and Prof. Picklepepper in the search and rescue effort for Prof. Wheaton Barley, a vampirologist last seen investigating a possible feral vampire outbreak in Doctor Despicable's hometown of Slumgullia. Meanwhile, Doc receives a letter he thinks is inviting him to receive an award from the Slumgullian locals. Coincidence? Probably not.
While we find ourselves trapped between villagers with torches and pitchforks and a plague of feral vampires, you get to listen to an episode of Stage 49 - a production of Dracula featuring Lorne Greene! There is also a novelty record by Al Zanino and a few vampire movie trailers.
