Now I must admit that I have, as of yet, only read the first couple of chapters – something I hope to rectify in the near future. However it has, already, got points in its favour; it’s about vampires, the first couple of chapters are high octane and action packed and it’s free to read. So far the vampires are brutes, not the romantic creatures many authors try to portray, and if I had to aim for exactly what the vampires reminded me of then it would have to be those portrayed in 30 days of Night. The first couple of chapters are also pretty darn grizzly, so not really one for a younger audience.
