This was a 5-minute short film directed by Rob Gurney and centred on a vampire (lady-Viper) – ancient, by her own account – during the current pandemic and the UK lockdown. She asks what does lockdown mean to a vampire?
For the main part it is her voice-over telling the story – she remembers plagues past, perhaps more demonstrative in symptom than Covid-19 but also remembers her kind being scapegoated by the clergy and sees parallels between the political leadership reactions then and now.
There is some nicely done fake blood on display, and whilst more a musing on the situation than a story in and of itself, there is a nice twist at the end.
At the point of writing, I couldn’t find an IMDb page.
