Exclamation Mark has Risen from the Grave

It was announced a short while ago that Exclamation Mark’s Vintage Sci-fi/Horror Review blog was to shut its doors. This, to me, was something of a blow. It was always a joy to see new reviews appear over at Mark’s, though his reasons for ending the blog were fully understandable. However, after some coercion from the blog community Mark was persuaded to move the reviews over to a free blog site, so that those existing reviews were preserved. I held back from posting about this until the move was complete and, with this post, I have updated all the links to the New Site - including those links in my own reviews were I refer readers to Mark’s page.

I’m overjoyed that Mark has decided to preserve the site, and hold out hope that, in the future, Mark might be tempted to throw out the odd new review.

In the meantime Mark has also started an art blog, Exclamation Mark’s site for sore eyes. Well worth a look.

Mark, I wish you all the best in your endeavours, and your comments and insights are always welcome here at Taliesin Meets the Vampires.

Wow, I'm touched. A bit speechless, really.

Just yesterday I finished with the migration. Turns out I had 118 reviews which I transferred to the new site one. review. at. a. time.

So the page won't be just a tombstone, I've decided to keep it alive by adding a fresh review each month. That way, the reviews will still remain fun and I can concentrate more time on the new site.

Again, thanks for the kind words (and updating your links!) You can bet I'll still be dropping by Taliesin's place on a regular basis.

Mark, your quite welcome... quality has to be appreciated.

Glad to hear that there's going to be the monthly review.

Did you get the picture reference btw?

I did indeed! I only wish I would have thought to use it for my final post at the "old site."

Thanks again, ol' chum.
