Hammer and the BBC

beyond the rave

I mentioned the new Hammer film, Beyond the Rave, a little while ago. There is now an official home page here.

Also, The Guardian have reported that BBC 3 have given the go ahead for a one hour comedy/drama special called ‘Being Human’. This is “about a flatshare between a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost.

"Being Human stars Guy Flanagan, who appeared in the Channel 4 comedy drama about a rock band, Totally Frank, as the vampire Mitchell.

"The 60-minute drama also features Russell Tovey, one of the stars of the Alan Bennett film The History Boys, as the werewolf George.

"Flanagan and Tovey play a pair with menial jobs in a hospital who live with Andrea Riseborough's Annie, a "ghost with a confidence crisis" who used to share the flat with her boyfriend before being killed in a fatal accident."
